We were tasked with commemorating Hourglass Cosmetics’ 20th anniversary while celebrating Barneys New York's iconic legacy through a unique, experiential retail pop-up during New York Fashion Week. AGENC designed a premium space that seamlessly blended luxury, nostalgia, and innovation, highlighting up-and-coming designers and fostering meaningful consumer engagement. The activation captured the iconic spirit of Barneys and brought it to life in the heart of Manhattan, offering exclusive product drops and unforgettable brand moments. The goal was to craft an immersive experience that captivated fashion and beauty enthusiasts worldwide.

THE CHALLENGE
Reimagining Barney’s legacy in
collaboration with Hourglass during NYFW
The pop-up ran successfully for 38 consumer days, drawing thousands of visitors daily and earning widespread praise for its luxurious, curated design while surpassing sales targets. The revival of Fred’s Cafe during the opening week added a nostalgic element, while exclusive panels, VIP evenings, and appearances by celebrities and influencers established the space as a premier destination during NY Fashion Week. This activation honored the legacy of Barneys in collaboration with Hourglass while redefining the standard for experiential retail. Through thoughtful storytelling and precise execution, AGENC created a landmark event that resonated deeply with both brands and their audiences.
